We are extremely excited to announce that Baychelsea V and KheyarraberribeyV have earned the Arabian Horse World Aristocratic Status!

BAYCHELSEA V

“Baychelsea V has had 10 registered purebred foals,” says her owner Joni Hyrick. Of these, six qualify her as an Arabian Horse World Aristocrat Mare, and a seventh, Bay Chili V by Allience, has multiple reserve championships in country pleasure and hunt pleasure. She has produced champions by 4 different sires, two of them *Aladdinn sons, a third a son of one of those stallions, and three of them by Sundance Kid V, who is a grandson of Baychelsea’s sire Huckleberry Bey. All of her foals who have been campaigned have been at least reserve champions in performance and most have won regional and/or National titles.

“In her younger days Baychelsea V was a race horse, placing in two of her four races. She is a full sister to U.S. National Champion Pleasure Driving and Informal Combination Bucharest V (sire of U.S. National Champion Stallion and National Champion sire Millennium LOA), to U.S. Top Ten English Pleasure and English Pleasure Junior Horse and National Champion sire Bravado Bey V, and to Berrymerri Bey V, dam of twice U.S Top Ten Stallion AOTH VJ Justaberry Bey+ and of VJ Berryance, whose 6 National wins include U.S. National Champion Hunt Pleasure JOTR 14-17 and Hunt Pleasure JTR 14-17. I was fortunate to acquire Baychelsea V early in 2006 through one of the Addis Auctions for a very reasonable price, not knowing at the time that she had produced a National winner or that she qualified as an Aristocrat! Two of her offspring won National titles in 2006 and her sons Bouncer V and Bizmark V will both be shown on the national level in 2007, so she may be adding to her National winner total again this year.

Baychelsea V produced a wonderful filly for me in 2007 by Psymadre I have named Psylhouette. She is in foal by frozen semen for 2008 to MHR Nobility who has crossed so well with Huckleberry Bey daughters. Baychelsea V has proven her ability to consistently producers pretty Arabians . She's a mare that loves attention, and will stand for hours as long as you pet or groom her. I love to watch her sailing through the pasture with my other Aristocrat Huckleberry Bey daughter KheyarraberribeyV. I am deeply grateful to Sheila Varian for breeding mares of this caliber.”

“KheyarraberribeyV has had 9 registered purebred foals, one by Alada Baskin, three by MHR Muscateal, and five by Psymadre” says her owner Joni Hyrick. “Her tenth foal, a 2007 filly by A Temptation is not yet registered. She is safely in foal to U.S. National Champion Futurity Colt MPA Giovanni for 2008. The resulting foal will be a Scottsdale Signature Stallion Auction foal.

She may soon have a sixth champion as her son Millenium Magic, a blue ribbon winner in reining, will be competing in the future.”

“Five of her offspring qualify her as an Arabian Horse World Aristocrat Mare, including Im The Real Deal, a 2006 National Champion. All of her winners have regional titles. I still can’t believe that both my Huckleberry Bey daughters had 2006 National winners, a total of three between them! My other National winner producer, Baychelsea V, is also listed this year as an Aristocrat Mare. I am fortunate to also own Kheyarraberribeyv’s daughter Psyductress VF, who has been a blast to show this year and was also a Top Ten Filly ATH at Scottsdale.”

“KheyarraberribeyV was a ribbon winner in reining during a brief show career and she represents the highly successful nick of Huckleberry Bey on a Khemosabi daughter, a cross that has produced National Champions in halter and many performance disciplines, including Canadian National Champion Stallion AOTH and National winner sire Mosketan V, Canadian National Champion Mare and National winner producer Keepsake V, U.S. Reserve National Champion Show Hack AOTR Khemberry Bey V, U.S. National Champion Futurity Filly HB Bey Sera, Brazilian National Champion Mare and U.S. Top Ten Futurity Filly and National winner producer Promise V, and Mosquerade V (dam of 4 National winners, 3 of them National Champions). She is also closely related to Canadian National Champion Mare and U.S. Reserve National Champion Mare Dessperada and to U.S. National Champion Sporthorse Stallion, Klint Black.”

“Though Kheyra was not a halter horse herself, all of her foals have inherited her large eyes, hooky neck and athletic movement. I believe all but one shown in breeding classes have won at the regional level, proving she can pass on pretty as well as performance to her offspring.
